Szymon Holovnia published 1 of the most individual and politically risky entries in his career.
In it he referred to a wave of criticism that fell on him after a night gathering with Jarosław Kaczyński in Adam Bielan's apartment. Contrary to suggestions about betrayal and division, the leader of Poland 2050 not only defends his actions, but accuses his critics of hypocrisy and political shortsightedness.
“So you want to tell me that you ‘and you for 8 years’, on the 1 hand, and ‘and you, the German coalition’, on the other, have been doing less, and money in your wallets and peace of head surely does not do more – is OK? And talking to the leaders of the 2 deadly quarreled Polsk, so as to see what and how can be done for the mentioned Poland – it is betrayal, disgrace, and it is OK not? I will stick to my sentence.”
Hołownia emphasized that he did not quit 5 years of life, wellness and household politics to "get sly". It simply says that political polarization is not a cure, but a cancer, and its place may be taken by a new, brown force: pro-Russian, anti-Semitic and extreme. Hence his decision to talk to each side – not with sympathy, but with responsibility.
“Polarisation, which is having antemortem seizures (camps of both large leaders of the “community” in a minute of brown, pro-Russian, anti-Semitic fresh “third road”, is not a cure, is the cancer of our policy.”
He points out that he is not planning any coalition with the PiS, which he believes is inactive arrogant of his own mistakes. He describes his disappointment with the erstwhile dynamics of the Coalition on October 15, whose co-creation was expected to be a hope of change, not a replay of "business as user".
Holovnia powerfully rejects accusations of treason. He points out that he talks to both Tuski, Kosiniak-Kamish and Czarzasty, as well as Duda, Kaczyński or Błaszczak – due to the fact that that's just the way it is.
“To pursuit me to a ‘democratic’ comedian, the insults that coalitions and their fanbase pour on me, do not impress me. [...] The confederation of those who present want to stone “Judas” who “went out under the cover of the night to betray the Lord” awakens in me, as a individual with spiritual preparation, a grin of sincere emotion.”
However, the most striking passage concerns the fresh president's oath. The haughty suggests that he was tried to convince him to halt this act – which is clearly defined as an effort at a "state attack". However, he assures that the Sejm, whom he is simply a marshal, will curse the president elected by citizens – regardless of his political colors.
“A parliament in which, contrary to the intentions of the coup, a coalition marshal swears an opposition president, in which thousands of citizens can consult parliamentary laws again for the first time in history.”
The lobby besides does not hide that the form of the gathering was a mistake – late times and private location give emergence to suspicions. However, the very fact of talking to the opposition is considered necessary. He warns against a policy based on emotions and memes, in which adult politicians act like children “faulted that I am talking not only to Jasie but besides to Gretel.”
“I say this clearly, simply, hard: I am curious in peace, not war. I intend to proceed along this way with those who want us all the same.”
