Prosecutors from the Silesian Department of the National Public Prosecutor's Office finish work on applications for the waiver of immunity to Simon Holown and Michał Kobosce, stated TVN24 on 25 August 2026. The case concerns Collegium Humanum. Without the consent of the Sejm and of the European Parliament, possible charges cannot be brought against them.
Proposals are to be final
According to the findings TVN24 of 25 August 2026. The Silesian prosecutors are finishing work on proposals to waive immunity by associate Simon Holown and Euro MP Michał Koboska. A university not as a community of science, but as a career service. Public function not as a service, but as a place to get paper and access. This is how a layer of people is formed who believe that rules are for others.
For Poland, the stakes are specific. A citizen who pays his taxes fairly, graduates, works and raises children, cannot look at the state as a club of common protection of the elite. If immunity becomes a shield before the case is cleared up, trust in the institution weakens. If only the procedure and evidence work, the state regains its seriousness.
Therefore, the conclusions, if they yet scope the Parliament and the European Parliament, should be treated without organization theatre. This isn't about revenge on the Holrow or Koboska. It is simply a simple principle: politics are no higher than a citizen. This rule is especially worth reminding those who have fed the public a communicative of their own ethical superiority over the years.
The Polish 2050 crisis has already had a polling and organizational dimension, as DN wrote on the occasion of the study, in which Poland 2050 was outside the Sejm.
