This information represents a crucial increase in the ability of the Netherlands Armed Forces to combat air raid measures. To date, the country had 2 NASAMS (2x3 launchers) batteries, which alongside 4 MIM-104 Patriot batteries (until late 12 launchers, after a donation for Ukraine 10) were the basis for combating air targets at short and average distance. The Netherlands now announces its desire to get an additional 21 launchers and 13 command stations. In addition, the Dutch decided to acquisition a fresh short-range NOMADS anti-aircraft strategy of 18 launchers and 5 command cars.
