Spanish program with major problems [COMMENTARY]

The VCR 8x8 Dragon vehicle acquisition program for the Spanish Army has been moving for respective years and has been plagued by a number of delays, which translated into a crucial extension of the implementation deadline compared to the first plans. Initially, the first wagons were to be delivered in 2018. This took place only in late 2022, erstwhile the Spanish ground troops of the first 7 of the mostly ordered 348 vehicles were transferred to GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas. By the end of 2024, the name was given to 92 wagons (which nevertheless did not happen and only 20-40 vehicles were transferred).
