More than 15,000 police officers in Spain will keep order during Leon XIV's Saturday visit to the country.
It will be the largest police operation during the erstwhile apostolic trips to Spain, carried out by John Paul II and Benedict XVI.
Over 600 different types of vehicles will be utilized in the first papal visit to Spain in nearly 15 years. For the first time, Spanish services will besides usage drones to safe the Holy Father's visit. In total, there will be 16 specified devices. Additional equipment to defend Leon XIV's visit to Spain will supply various safety systems, especially metallic detectors and detectors. A full of 700 specified devices were planned.
