Swedish Gripeny landed at Malbork base, where they will be stationed as part of NATO Air Police Mission

Six multitasking combat aircraft Gripen landed on Wednesday at Malbork Military Airport – reported Swedish air force. Fighters will participate in NATO Enhanced Air Police mission as of April. Gripeny will participate in the mission with the station already in Malbork Typhoon fighters of the British Royal Air Force.

Historical mission. Swedes debut

Official reception of Swedish aircraft in Poland with participation Minister of Defence of Sweden Pal Jonson is scheduled to take place on 1 April at Malbork Airport. Event Named ‘historical’, due to the fact that for the first time, Gripeny is stationed outside the country.
