Helicopters for Czech Republic for free, but not without cost

The U.S. Department of State gave the Czech Republic approval to acquisition renovation and modernization packages for 6 Bell AH-1Z Viper impact helicopters and 2 multi-purpose Bell UH-1Y Venom machines. These are machines that Prague will receive free of charge for the transfer of its Mi-17 and Mi-24/35 helicopters to Ukraine.
