The candidate of Law and Justice for the office of president was Karol Nawrocki, president of the Institute of National Memory. Prior to the authoritative announcement of his name around the organization there was much speculation about a possible candidate. There were many names in public space. However, 1 politician rejected Jarosław Kaczyński's proposal.

Jarosław Kaczyński proposed to run for the erstwhile Minister of athletics and Tourism (2015–2019), who has served as head of the planet Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) since 2020. The bubble was considered to be 1 of the favorites of the PiS president, but rapidly declined.
Why didn't Banka want to run for president?
In a conversation with the athletics Review Bańka clearly stressed that his precedence was anti-doping activities and the management of WADA. Nor does he plan to return to Polish politics at least in the close future.
– I don't regret it. My decision was based not on emotion, but on a rational view of reality and on the work for the organization I'm moving now. Where would I leave WADA if I became a candidate for the office of president of Poland? – he said.
The erstwhile minister acknowledged that the proposal from Jarosław Kaczyński was an "deem" for him, but is now focused on working in WADA.

PIS candidate for President

Eventually, on 24 November 2024, in Krakow, it was announced that the PiS candidate in the 2025 presidential election would be Karol Nawrocki. The run continues and the first circular of elections will be held on 18 May. If no of the candidates get the majority, the second circular will be held on June 1.
Nawrocki will meet Rafał Trzaskowski, Szymon Hołownia, Sławomir Mentzen and Magdalena Biejat, among others.
