"Disgraces EU, Homosexuals and Jews". Germany about Braun

Grzegorz Braun's erstwhile provocations were getting distant with it, but denying the Holocaust, Polish politician went besides far. He is facing prison sentences of up to 3 years," writes the German newspaper.

"Polish Euro MP and Anti-Semit Grzegorz Braun loves tasteless provocations. He has been successful so far, but an investigation has now been implemented against him" writes Warsaw correspondent Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" Stefan Locke. The article was published on Friday on the German paper portal.

One step besides far: Holocaust negation

Braun "disdains the European Union, homosexuals and Jews, and demonstrates his hatred publicly" writes Locke, pointing out that for a long time he was getting distant with it.

The questioning of the mass execution committed by the Germans in Auschwitz has been the climax of Braun's actions for a long time – the German writer added that "this time Braun most likely went besides far."

Locke recalled events involving Braun, including extinguishing with a fire extinguisher of Khanu candles in the Sejm. The writer pointed to the paradox: Braun plays the function of a politician close to people – 'a neighbour, a citizen, a good father', but his Confederation of the Polish Crown is simply a collective of 'reactive, nationalistic, ultra-Catholic, anti-Semitic and pro-Russian traditionalists, monarchs and opponents of the EU'.

Provocations for provocation

"FAZ" noted Braun's amazingly good score in the presidential election. The controversial policy was voted in the first circular by 1.2 million voters – 6.3 percent. Braun has surpassed left-wing candidates, the centre and liberals," Locke stressed.

"The consequence was a shock to Polish politics, but Braun took it as a confirmation for his course," writes the author. Braun means "not just getting votes; he provokes for provocation."

Braun ignores the proceedings against him and the fact that the European Parliament has taken immunity from him. However, the negation of the Holocaust may be 1 provocation besides many – Locke writes, recalling that for this crime a politician is threatened with conviction of up to 3 years imprisonment.
