The construction of the hall was part of a larger investment including a fresh production hall, an office building and the modernisation of method infrastructure, interior roads, wharfs and parking lots. The consortium of NDI Group, NDI SOPOT S.A. and Pekabex Bet S.A. was liable for the implementation of this project.

Swordfish frigates

The hall already plays a key function in the construction of the first frigate under the Swordfisher program, ORP Wicher. Further units – ORP Storm and ORP Hurricane – will besides be built in this facility.
