“To Save Christmas” by Sarah B. Elfgren is simply a Christmas communicative that consciously eludes the patterns of modern Christmas literature for children. It is simply a communicative that does not celebrate holidays in their commercial appearance, but tries to reconstruct them to the first meaning of survival, community, light fighting darkness and hope appearing under the least favorable circumstances.
