Gulfstream G800 First Delivery

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announced the first customer delivery of the G800, which boasts a range of 8,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85. The aircraft underwent outfitting at the Appleton (ATW) completions center.

Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, expressed excitement over high demand and praised the team’s maturity in program execution, similar to the G700. This delivery marks a key achievement for Gulfstream’s next-generation fleet.

The G800 recently won the 2025 International Yacht & Aviation Award for Private Jet Design. It offers the lowest cabin altitude at 2,840 feet when cruising at 41,000 feet.

Features include 100% fresh air, plasma ionization purification, and 16 panoramic oval windows. Configurations support up to four living areas or three with a crew compartment.

Certifications confirmed enhanced performance, including 7,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.90 and 8,000 nautical miles at Mach 0.87. Maximum operating speed rose to Mach 0.935.

The G800 flies farther than any business jet, enabling nonstop global routes. It achieves 8,200 nautical miles at long-range cruise and maintains high speeds without compromising efficiency.

The G800’s debut aligns with Gulfstream’s strategy to deliver technologically advanced jets with mature, proven platforms.

The company previously achieved similar success with the G700, which entered service with high program maturity, and aims to replicate that reliability for its latest flagship.
