Grodzki wanted to hide how he rewarded coworkers accused of mobbing

Interia has been trying for 2 years to get information about the remuneration of close coworkers Tomasz Grodzki, who were accused of mobbing. The erstwhile Marshal of the legislature neither thought to uncover how well he rewards his subordinates. Eventually, he had to do it due to the fact that that's what the court decided.

Such a scandal should in explanation shake the political establishment, but akin on both the PO side and the PiS side is adequate that on the majority it is already like a duck.

After a two-year court trial, the ultimate Administrative Court acknowledged the right Interia information portal, which demanded the release of financial congratulations for Anna Godzilla and Małgorzata Daszczyk, a co-worker of the erstwhile legislature marshal, Tomasz Grodzki. Both ladies enjoyed his individual protection.

Witnesses testified that there were cases of mobbing in the legislature Chancellery. Godzilla and Daszczyk were to play key roles in this process. They gave unrealistic instructions and led subordinate workers to tears.

Interii writer Jakub Szczepański tried to find out how Godzilla and Daszczyk were paid. In 2022, as part of access to public information, he asked the CIS to supply data on financial gratification. In addition to the remuneration of both ladies, he besides asked for information on the remuneration of Maciej Berk and Jakub Stefaniak, then manager and Vice-Director of CIS respectively. The last 2 declared that they would voluntarily disclose their income. The remuneration of Godzilla and Daszczyk, however, was a strict secret.

The Interia addressed the Provincial Administrative Court in Warsaw. On August 10, 2022, a conviction was passed to disclose information about the remuneration. Grodzki and his people inactive refused to do so, referring to further instances. The final sentence, before the ultimate Administrative Court, was not made until 16 January 2024. The legislature waited almost 4 months to uncover information about the apanages. He yet did it. It turns out that Grodzki's proteges earned much more than another people employed in the legislature in akin positions. More from the superiors, too. The wage was about the same, but there were prizes involved. Here Godzilla and Daszczyk could number on something extra.

“The differences in financial gratuities can be seen from Anna Godzilla. Although formally in the same position as Stefaniak, the legislature Office paid her extra 57 589,65 oftr. The bonus forms of remuneration included, among others, an additional yearly wage – PLN 9 564.14, the Jubilee Award – PLN 9 414 or awards from the prize fund and the legislature allowance – after PLN 7 162", Interia writes.

Daszczyk received an even higher wage due to the fact that she served as Grodzki's assistant as early as erstwhile he worked at Szczecin-Zdunowo Hospital. Those who were little favored began to remind of certain envelopes containing content which they thought was accepted by Grodzki. Of course, the erstwhile legislature marshal firmly and categorically denied it.

"In accordance with the information that we obtained from the Chancellery of the Senate, the manager of Tomasz Grodzki's cabinet took together, not counting the basic salary, 71 671,93 PLN. This amount includes, among others, an additional yearly wage – 9 214, 54 PLN, a legislature allowance – 10 613.94 PLN, a prize from the prize fund – 10 613, 59 PLN or another legislature allowance accounting for 9 115, 87 PLN" writes Interia.

This is simply a net prize only for 2021, and it can be assumed that in erstwhile and subsequent years besides “a small bit” was paid. In the same period Berek received “only” 37 756,29 zł for awards, and Stefaniak 31 834.81 zł.

Protected by Grodzki, who are inactive under investigation for mobbing in the Chancellery of the Senate, they did not endure financially. After the October elections last year, Daszczyk found additional employment in the Ministry of Defence as deputy manager in the office of the head of the department. He's inactive on the legislature Chancellery payroll, but he's on notice.
