24 Sea Sparrow missiles are a reasonably modest consequence to Ukraine's requests to supply its advanced mid-range air defence systems: S-300PMU-1 and Patriot PAC-2. The Greeks explain that they are incapable to get free of the defensive systems due to the threat of their own territory (by the Turks, by default). Sea Sparrow missiles are to be part of a larger aid package.
