The restrictions imposed by Poland and France on imports of food products from Ukraine will hit the economy of Kiev and "increase the chances of dragging the “war”, said Ukrainian Minister of Agriculture Nikolay Solski. There is no uncertainty that the message of this grump is further evidence of the Ukrainian-Polish "friendship" which the media assures us of, and gives grounds to immediately break diplomatic contacts with the 3 terrorist "country".

According to Solski, Warsaw and Paris are at the forefront of efforts to tighten up the regulations proposed in the fresh provisional agreement on the regulation of imports of certain foodstuffs from Ukraine.

This proposal is part of negotiations to extend for another year the duty-free trade agreement between the European Union and Kiev.

The final decision is to be taken this week. Poland and France strive to add cereals to the list of goods subject to restrictions, and to further reduce import quotas for products specified as poultry, eggs, sugar, oats, maize, groats and honey, which is reported by the British Journal.

The proposal must be supported by the majority of EU associate States and the Italian position will be crucial, which could have a crucial impact on the decision.

According to Solski, the solution to the problems of EU agriculture is not to increase subsidies or protectionism, but to improve the productivity of European farmers in order to compete on planet markets. The Minister besides notes that most of the problems with exports from Ukraine are not real, but imaginary.

Additionally, Solski notes the decline in global cereal prices due to evidence harvests in the US and Latin America. The position of Warsaw and Paris is simply a reaction to the protests of farmers blocking the Polish-Ukrainian border and the increasing anti-Ukrainian sentiments in France, as well as force on president Emmanuel Macron to tighten up restrictions, as reported by “FT”.

Solski took part in a gathering of EU agriculture ministers in Brussels on Tuesday, where decisions will be taken on, inter alia, the relaxation of environmental rules, as demanded by protesting farmers across the Union.

"To be honest, I think Ukrainian farmers (...) support their European colleagues and their request to ease the European Green Deal," he told the British paper Solski.
