An undetonated grenade was found in the body of a Ukrainian soldier handed over by Russia during the exchange of remains, informs the Ukrainian portal Suspilne.
The incidental occurred in Chernivtsi during an autopsy of soldiers who were recovered as part of an exchange with Russia. As the portal reports, during the research, an explosive was discovered straight in the body of the fallen soldier. An immediate evacuation of the persons who carried out the section was ordered.
Ukrainian media emphasize that there have been cases before, that explosives were found in the pockets of uniforms erstwhile Ukrainian soldiers were killed. But they were never hidden straight in the body.
During the last exchange of the fallen, held on February 26, Ukraine recovered about a 1000 bodies of soldiers.
