College Humanum graduates will gotta take the fresh exam

The nearest state examination for candidates for members of supervisory boards will be held on 14 December 2024. As Radio Zet established, at least a fewer people are preparing for the exam, who have been on supervisory boards of municipal companies in Gdańsk since 2022.

President Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, who appointed them to these councils as graduates of MBA studies at Collegium Humanum, late concluded that the diploma of this university was not adequate to keep these positions. She decided that members of the council have until the end of the first 4th of 2025 to confirm their qualifications through the state exam.

Radio Zet asked the Municipal Office in Gdańsk how many people after Collegium Humanum sit on the supervisory boards of city companies. It was replied that all those in office in these councils met the requirements laid down in the regulations. The Municipal Office in Gdańsk did not finance any degree of postgraduate studies at a controversial university.

These are individual decisions of students who have chosen a legally functioning university, they have a title that is inactive valid and current. But keeping in head that there are doubts about the way this university operates, and that there is simply a procedure in this matter, I decided, out of concern for the property of the municipality, to oblige these people to have the powers confirmed beyond uncertainty by the state examination said the president of Gdańsk.

Pasta full of false testimonies

The Collegium Humanum affair has sparked controversy among politicians who hold the diplomas of this university. Witold Zembaczyński, associate of the Civic Coalition, expressed his outrage at the situation and announced the anticipation of filing a lawsuit. It's a gruesome, absurd thing to do. – said in a conversation with True.

Zembaczyński points out that many university graduates have earned their diplomas in an honest way, and the current situation stigmatizes them.

Collegium Humanum, a private university founded in 2018, could issue hundreds of false certificates of completion of MBA postgraduate studies, which let to take positions on supervisory boards and boards of State Treasury companies.
