The host maintained a four-time triumphant of this event by Dutchwoman Anna van der Breggen (SD Worth-Protime).
Gery overtook Dutch Lucinda Brand (Lidl-Trek) and Italian Chantal Pegolo (Isolmant-Premac-Vittoria).
