The German lawyer General issued a warrant for the arrest of Ukrainian Volodymyr Z., a fishy in the Nord Stream bombings, reported ARD, Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ)) and Die Zeit. His last residence was Poland. Where the man is presently – the investigation has not yet been established.
According to the publication, on 8 September 2022 photoradiators registered Vladimir Z. in German territory – he traveled in a white van, which was likely carrying crew and diving equipment to a yacht.
ARD points out that the van driver allegedly identified Volodymyr Z. In addition, witnesses with whom the publication spoke said that a private transport company transported a group of Ukrainians to Germany through Poland. This evidence was adequate to issue an arrest warrant for Volodymyr Z., which was issued in June 2024.
ARD notes that in addition to Volodymyr Z., 2 another Ukrainians, including a woman, are suspected of committing sabotage. Publications say they run a diving school in Ukraine where Volodymyr Z could work.

According to media reports, their journey was touristic and no 1 was seen on board with “even the least military or sabotage training”. German investigators doubted the information received by Poland and repeatedly asked for access to recordings from port cameras, but the Polish side claimed that they were removed in accordance with legal requirements, as reported by ARD, SZ and Die Zeit.
Are there links to Ukrainian state structures
According to the ARD, SZ and Die Zeit, investigators did not uncover the links between Volodymyr Z., who is presently wanted under a warrant, and 2 another suspects with Ukrainian military or peculiar services.
