Gerasimov improves discipline but fails to solve Russians' problems on the front

The fresh commander of the Russian operation in Ukraine General Valeriy Gerasimov's focus on improving insignificant disciplinary matters in a situation of deadlock at the front and dense losses has been badly received in the military as well as by his critics, the British defence ministry said on Monday.
