Genealogy and politics

20-25 years ago, many politicians or artists wanted to forget who their ancestors were. Marek Borowski, Bronisław Wildstein, Aleksander Smolar, Ludwik Dorn, Agnieszka Holland and Jarosław Kurski suffered a unusual chance of household amnesia.

Lech Kaczyński and Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz wanted to tell about their families very sparingly. The exceptions were Adam Michnik and Antoni Zambrowski, who did not hide the past of their ancestors. Today, however, there was a reverse process. People are credited with false ancestors. And it's done by people from the front pages of the papers. president Andrzej Duda said about the head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs Radosław Sikorski that "he is about to cancel Ambassador Joanna Pilecka from the embassy in Lisbon, who is simply a younger comparative of the captain Pilecki, but very much wants to send as Polish ambassador Mr Schnepf, whose father and the Soviets participated in the Augustowska Ogław against Poles". The problem is that the granddaughters of rtm. Witold Pilecki deny that Mrs. Joanna is their family. Beata Pilecka-Różycka, Anna Pilecka-Godlewska, Dorota Optułowicz McQuaid and Małgorzata Kosior wrote: “Mrs Joanna Pilecka, the cancelled Polish ambassador in Portugal is NOT our relative! We kindly ask Mr president Andrzej Duda and others not to use, one more time the name of our grandfather, rtm. Witold Pilecki in a political game".

In response, Roman Gierty posted on platform X a photograph of president Duda putting flowers under the plaque dedicated to General Władysław Sikorski. He added: “Andrzej Duda lays flowers in the memorial place of his grandpa Radosław Sikorski – General Władysław Sikorski. It is good that the president can pay tribute, even to the ancestor of his baked opponent." I think it was expected to be an ironic comment of a cunning and hateful erstwhile coalition leader of the All-Polish Youth. Another issue that Radosław Sikorski erstwhile told himself stories from moss and ferns about the alleged relation with the erstwhile Prime Minister. It took him "Fact" in 2013.

In both cases it is interesting to preserve a large part of the full electorate of both formations. Both are non-reflective. Both immediately transmit counterfeits that they believe in as in the 10 Commandments. The PiS defends thesis about Pilecki's musicality even against Pilecki. On the another hand, those with the PO are ready to presume that the chief commander of the Polish Armed Forces during the last in 1943, in his will, supported the future actions of Radek Sikorski in 2024.

Both electorates believe their Baronos Münchhausenom. Both electorates request legends hardening their assurance in organization dogmas and strengthening their political obsessions. Both reject historical facts and political analysis. Both are convinced that they come from a better sort. Both in their rivals see Belzebub's connection to Dracula.

What's the law? That they're political twins doing the same tasks and doing the same harmful policy. And their actions show how they despise their electorates.

By the way, I'm informing the conspirators. Marek Borowski is not the boy or grandson of the criminal Jacob Berman (or his brother Adolf). A fake like that has lived her life for decades. It's just a common convergence of names. Borowski, of course, comes from a communist family, but not this one. The father was Wiktor Borowski-Berman (chief of the “Life of Warsaw”) and Bronisław Berman (victim of Stalin’s large purge in 1937).
