On the night of Saturday on Sunday at Chwaszczyńska Street in Gdynia there was a fire in the production and retention hall. The fire completely covered the interior of the object. 53 firefighters are presently fighting the fire. Inside were toys. The fire has been located and does not spread.
The fire study was received at 1.40 p.m. The hall is 200 by 50 meters. Forces and resources from Gdynia and neighbouring powiats of the Pomeranian Voivodeship were sent to the site. After the arrival of the first hosts, it was found that the fire completely covered the administrative and production-magazine part of the facility.
According to the press officer of the Gdynia Fire Department, Captain Paweł Przybydowicz, the fire does not endanger neighboring objects or close forest. He added that there was a fire extinguishing and demolition of the building's structural elements, any of which collapsed inside.
He reported that, as of now, there was no information available to anyone inside the building.
