GDLS and Textron will build prototype reconnaissance vehicles

Contracts presume the construction of vehicles in the ARV MCA (Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle average Caliber Autocannon) variant, which will replace the LAV-25 wheel combat reconnaissance wagons in service. The ARV MCA is to be equipped with a turret system, armed with an Mk44S 30 mm automatic cannon, coupled with a 7.62 mm device gun, as well as a guided projectile launcher and additionally remotely controlled weapon module.
