The ceremony commemorating the late Edward Hajduk "Mew" – a soldier of the 5th Vilnius Home Army Brigade organized by the Gdańsk IPN was held in Zaptzen.
“The Seagull” served in the Iron Branch. He died precisely 80 years ago in combat. The inhabitants of Zaptania secretly buried him in a parish cemetery. Recently, fans of Chojniczanka contributed to the construction of a fresh tombstone.
