In the opinion of the president of Warsaw, this is simply a good direction. – We are working on abolishing the Church Fund. That's precisely the right direction. Let the citizens decide which church they want to support. And just to be clear, there is nothing fighting in my attitude, that is common sense – he explained.
The candidate KO pointed out that the Church has a very affirmative function in terms of tradition and assistance in crisis situations. “In Warsaw we support Caritas from the city budget, due to the fact that Caritas is doing a superb job, helping people in a homelessness crisis,” he said.
In the opinion of Rafał Trzaskowski, there are truly quite a few places where the self-government or state can cooperate with the Church in matters of real importance. "In another matters, however, simply separation, so kind," he concluded.
Magdalena Biejat besides supports the thought of liquidating the Church Fund. "It is possible to introduce mechanisms by which the faithful will be able to support the church they belong to and which future they care about, for example, through voluntary additional taxation of themselves under the PIT settlement," she added.
