From terrorists to partners. Russia uses the Taliban to recover Central Asia

The military-technical cooperation agreement, signed on 27 May 2026 by Russia and governed by the Taliban of Afghanistan, is another phase of political normalization of the movement, which inactive late Moscow officially included among terrorist organizations.
