France abruptly wants to become a leader in the European-Ukrainian drone sector, as it sees this as an chance for its own industry, reindustrialization and regaining its position in an area where it has clearly slept through the last fewer years. Paris intends to take advantage of Ukraine's experience, manufacture and ability to adapt rapidly on the battlefield, but preferably with European Union money and under French leadership.
