Flying tanker for European fleet MRTT

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) ordered an additional multi-tasking Airbus A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) to grow the MRTT fleet (MMF) to 10 machines. The acquisition announcement follows Belgium's decision to increase the number of hours at national disposal in a multi-national programme by an additional 1100 in yearly clearance. Multinational Multi function Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF) provides strategical transport, air-fueling and medical evacuation opportunities for six participating countries: Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Norway.
