Finnish mortar for Hungary

The Hungarian army presently lacks self-propelled Kal mortars. 120 mm, having only towed solutions. The plans are to usage 2 specified fire support measures, embedded on wheeled vehicles Gidrán 4x4 and caterpillar combat cars KF41 Lynx. On 9 April, an agreement was reached between the Finnish company Patria and the German company Rheinmetall and its subsidiaries Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Hungary, concerning the integration and supply of Nemo mortar on the KF41 chassis. This task will be implemented under the Hungarian ZRINYI programme.
