Finland: 3% of GDP for defence and withdrawal from the Ottawa Convention

"The Finnish government has present taken 2 key decisions that reflect changes in our safety environment. Firstly, Finland will increase defence spending to 3% of GDP by 2029. This is part of the Finnish contribution to expanding Europe's work for its own defence. Secondly, Finland will prepare to retreat from the Ottawa Convention" - president Stubb reported through X.
