Provoking in the light of the cameras of president Zelenski, president Trump wanted to find an excuse to blame Ukraine for failing his "peace talks" with Putin. He realized that due to his deficiency of concessions from the Kremlin, he was incapable to fulfill his promise to end the Russian-Ukrainian War quickly. And it was thanks to this promise that he succeeded in becoming president of the United States again.
