Well... The “Łucznik” weapon mill shortly after her husband, Vice president Radom of the Civic Platform, joined her board, decided to sign a court deal with the publisher of the Onet portal, who in the time of the PiS government organized an aggressive assault on the Polish carbine “Grot”.
The “Łucznik”-Radom sp. z o.o. mill based in Radom, maker of 5.56 mm MSBS GROT rifles and Ringier Axel Springer Polska sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw, publisher of the Onet.pl portal, together with the authors of the publication: Edyta Żemła, Marcin Wybrał and Pawel Moszner on 23 June 2025, concluded – by signing a court settlement – lasting for more than 4 years, before the Radom territory Court, caused by articles published in early 2021: “Grot – do report!” and “Shocking study on Grot. He is so angry that he threatens soldiers”
— was submitted in a press release published by FabrykaBroni.pl.
The decision to settle is the consequence of the common position of the “Łucznik”-Radom Sp. z o.o. and Ringier Axel Springer Polska sp. z o.o. based on the belief that the interest of the safety of the Polish state should always be an overarching value, especially in a geopolitical environment as complex as it is now. Consequently, any erstwhile media storms should give way to substantive and nonsubjective discussion
— added.
It is worth noting that the settlement took place shortly after Daniel Wilk, who is privately married to the vice president of Radom Marty Michalska-Wilk from the Civic Platform, joined the board of the “Łucnik”.
What is it?
We remind you that the Onet.pl portal in the times of the regulation of the Law and Justice wrote that the Grot, the flagship Polish carbine, rusts, overheats, clenched jams, the flask cracks on impact, and any faults prevent shooting. These are, according to the portal, the results of the tests conducted by experts with this weapon. any shortcomings of the Grot – as the authors of the publication say – were known before the MON signed a contract to buy a fresh carbine for the Polish army with a full of PLN 500 million.
The archer accused the authors that "the text is almost exclusively based on anonymous statements" and "archive photographs of copies from the first production parties", and the only individual cited by name is simply a erstwhile commando, presently writer Paweł Moszner, whose parent editor "did not decide to print this material".
The mill assured that the firearm had “passed a comprehensive certification process before the adoption of the weapon for use”.
