Farnborough 2024: There's a fresh client on F-35

The Greeks received approval from the U.S. State Department to get a full of up to 40 F-35A units with accompanying packages of a full value of up to US$8.6 billion. For now, however, the Greeks have decided to get half of these machines for the equivalent of US$3.76 billion. Their supplies are to be made between 2028 and 2033. Planes are to operate from Andravida base on the western coast of the Pelepone peninsula. So where the oldest Greek combat aircraft were based – F-4 Phantom II.
