Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met at a picnic with families. This was an chance to discuss the future of Poland and the further actions of the Polish government. Social policy based on solidarity, but besides support for investment and increased safety – these are the pillars of government credibility. The Flag household 500+ government programme will become household 800+ as of January 2024. The monthly benefit will be increased to PLN 800 per child. We adjust the amount of support to the current needs of Polish families.
Family picnics are an crucial time for Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. This is the best chance to talk to citizens face to face about their needs and their promises. For the government, the safety and well-being of Polish families is simply a priority, so we do not slow down and carry out further announced projects. It would not be possible to introduce fresh programmes without sealing the national budget.

The mark of effective government policy is that it reaches as many Poles as possible. We estimation that nearly 6.7 million children will benefit from household 800+ in 2024. At the same time, our investment programs, which increase the quality and comfort of surviving of residents, scope all corner of Poland. Everyone can benefit present from roads, infirmary schools, kindergartens and manors who have received government funding.
– Thanks to the fresh kindergartens and nurseries, those women who wanted to go to work could proceed their professional career. The real social policy, the infrastructure for children is what the Prime Minister said.
It is besides an effective fight against unemployment. present in Polish past we have the largest number of people working – over 17 million. The chief of government recalled that 8-9 years ago, over 2 million people were unemployed. It is besides work on garbage contracts, on contracts for PLN 4-5 per hr and millions of people on emigration.
– Just see the data of the Central Statistical Office. Our children are returning from emigration. For the first time in Polish history. It's a coincidence, too. This is an informed government policy – the Prime Minister concluded.
We support Polish families
Family 500+ programmeintroduced in 2016. As of July 2019, the benefit is granted to all kid until the age of 18, without an income criterion. If the kid started receiving “500+” in 2016, by June 2023 a full of PLN 43 500. In 2024 we will allocate 9600 PLN for each child. This is simply a coup in state social policy. We showed that we keep our word and care about Polish families. The level of spending on household policy puts Poland at the forefront of European countries.The 500+ household program is not the only form of support that our government offered to Polish families. Among the solutions implemented are:
Family Care Capital, a benefit for parents of children aged 12 to 35 months old. Parents receive a full of PLN 12,000 for the second and each subsequent child. The benefit is granted regardless of the income of the family. So far, more than 220,000 children have benefited from it.
The Mama 4+ program, through which we supply a pension to parents who have raised at least 4 children and had no right to a pension. To date, nearly PLN 2 billion has been paid for this purpose, covering more than 70 1000 people.
The Good Start program, in which at the beginning of each school year, we supply additional, one-time support of PLN 300 for each student. A full of nearly PLN 7 billion for about 4.6 million children have been paid since the beginning of the programme.
