Press conference on the summary of exhumations in Ukrainian Puźniki
I did not sign any paper concerning the alleged cessation of works in the village of Sadowe (old Puźniki) in the Tarnopolski region, provided Ukrainian Minister of Culture Mikołaj Toczycki. This is simply a consequence to information regarding the alleged withdrawal of the Ukrainian party's consent to the exhumation. On Saturday, news appeared on the net that Ukrainians were to revoke approval to lead Exhumation works in the village of Puźniki. Turns out the reports are false.

‘Watch out for Russian provocation“ – warned on platform X Euro MP PiS Michał Dworczyk.
"I have just received confirmation from the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Mykoła Toczycki, that he has not signed any specified paper and that it is Russian provocation" - said the politician.

Toczycki besides published an entry in this case. ‘I did not sign any paper concerning the alleged cessation of work in the village of Sadowe (former Pużniki) in the Tarnopolskie region," he assured, and false reports called it "harmful propaganda".

As he recalled, “the Polish side has defined this process (conducting exhumation works – ed.) as a historical and diplomatic breakthrough.”
Exhumation in the Cannons
Exhumation in the Cannons is simply a continuation of the work carried out by the Freedom and Democracy Foundation from May to August 2023, completed by the discovery of the grave in which the remains of the victims of the UPA crime rest.
In January 2025, based on search results, the Ukrainian authorities have authorised the exhumation found remains.
The work was carried out from 23 April to 10 May 2025.
