Faith and discipline in the era of secularization. Take part in a peculiar conference!

Soon, on 3-4 June 2024, the second installment of the peculiar task "Faith and discipline in the Age of Secularization" initiated in 2023 will take place at the Royal Castle in Niepołomice close Krakow. We cordially invitation you to Niepołomice for the conference “Return of the hypothesis of God”.

The conference is simply a unique event not only on the Polish scale, but even on a global scale. Outstanding experts of intelligent plan explanation and dialog of religion and discipline were invited to participate in the project.
The organizers of the conference are: Fr Piotr Skarga Association from Krakow, Steno Institute of religion and discipline and the American Discovery Institute.
This year the lecturers will be:
- Molecular biologist, Douglas Axe of Biola University, Los Angeles, and scholarship holder and erstwhile lecturer of the British University of Cambridge (UK), who will present the results of investigation on evolutionary protein limitations.
- Philosopher, Jay W. Richards of the Catholic University of America, Heritage Foundation, and Discovery Institute, who will answer the question of whether religion in God can be reconciled with belief in evolution?
- A physicist, Brian Miller, who holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Duke Universist, who will guide us through fascinating areas of intelligent plan explanation and the beginning of life.
- The theologian, Fr.Dr. Michał Chaberek OP, will, among another things, discuss the relation between Darwinian explanation of evolution and Catholic philosophical tradition expressed in the works of St.
The subject of this year's conference refers to the celebrated dialog between Napoleon Bonaparte and French Enlightenment mathematician and astronomer Pierre Simon Laplace, whose supposedly revolutionary Napoleon asked why he did not include the Newtonian "hypothesis of God" in his system. To which Laplace replied with a very enlightened shoe that "this hypothesis was not essential for anything." That it is only specified a haughty pose, 1 can see by listening and reading the distinguished speakers of the conference “Faith and discipline in a Secularizing Day. Return the hypothesis of God”!
The programme besides provides for an extended point of the alleged Q&A and the time of the individual evidence of speakers erstwhile they show us their way to the views presented. Of course, during the breaks there will besides be time for individual talks with lecturers and for building and strengthening the relation between participants of the conference, at least during tasty joint meals or coffee breaks. On Monday evening, June 3rd, there is simply a surprise for an interesting event!
