Evacuation of subsequent villages in Ukraine. "Still Life Threat"

The military administration of the Sumi region decided to evacuate another 11 villages in the region – the local authorities reported. The actions are linked to increased attacks by Russian troops in this direction. "There is simply a constant threat of life," stressed.

"Chief of the military regional administration in Sumach Oleh Hryhorow signed a resolution on mandatory evacuation residents of another 11 localities in the Sumi region”, said the military administration of the region on the Telegram platform.

‘The decision to evacuate was made in connection with the continuous threats to the lives of civilians as a consequence of the shelling of border towns’, as indicated in the Communication.

Evacuation was announced in villages which are located northwest of the town of Sumy, close the town of Bilopole, about 10-15 km from the border with the Russian Federation. The front line now runs elsewhere – about 30 km north of the circuit capital.

According to Hryhorov, the full number of towns in the Sumi region where the evacuation was announced has already reached 213. Previously, the chief of military peripheral administration in Sumach reported that more than 60% of residents were evacuated from the region's border areas.

On Tuesday, the Sumi Region authorities confirmed that Russian troops occupied 4 villages in the border region of this region. According to analysts, Moscow seeks to make a buffer region there.

Hryhorov stated on Tuesday that "currently in the territory of the Sumic region under the control of the opponent are the towns of Noweńke and Basiwka in the municipality of Junakiwka and Weselivka and Żurawka in the municipality of Chotiń".

Earlier – on Monday – the Ukrainian DeepState analytical portal reported that the Russians occupied a full border area of approx. 60 sq km. It is located to the west of the Russian Suja and to the northeast of Sum; on the east side of this bridge lies the Ukrainian villages Noweńke and Basiwka, and on the east – Żurawka and Weselivka.

Sums lie about 25 km from the border with Russia, and a buffer region at specified depth would prevent Ukrainian forces from attacking Russian territory with barrel artillery and utilizing tactical drones.
