Ukraine has most likely received 5 batteries of the Patriot mid-range air defence strategy and 1 of its European equivalent SAMP/T. The second entered service in Ukraine in August 2023. The Patriot has secured the opinion of the Russian aircraft killer in the last 2 years. For the first time after the Spring 2023 action, erstwhile 2 Russian Suchoje and 3 supporting Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed in 1 action, of which 2 electronic battles; for the second time in December 2023, erstwhile 3 Su-34 bombers were shot down simultaneously.
