European manufacture – autonomy or strategical dependence?

The war in Ukraine, the energy crisis and the U.S.-China technology war brutally reminded Europe that economical dependence can be as dangerous as military. The problem is that Europe wants to simultaneously (re)build industry, keep open markets, not argue with America and proceed to buy cheaply. In another words, globalisation does, but under its own flag.
