On 20 May, the European Maritime Day is celebrated. It is an chance to reflect on the challenges facing the maritime economy and the coastal environment. 1 of the increasingly urgent problems in this area is the phenomenon of coastal erosion. They are studied by Dr. Zuzanna Świrad from the Institute of Geophysics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
