Europe is betting on its own defence. Can the EU do without the US?

On Thursday at the Brussels Summit, European leaders will approve fresh defence backing mechanisms. It is simply a motion towards the US, but at the same time a signal that Europe is pursuing greater independency in terms of security. The president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski will besides take part.
