Europe for them, Poland for yes. We want more US troops

Poland stands out from across Europe as the only country where most citizens openly support the presence of US military bases. This is according to the latest Democracy Perception Index survey, conducted in March and April 2026 in 98 countries of the world, including 17 countries of the European Union. According to the results of the survey, 51 percent of Poles positively measure the presence of US troops in the country. Only 23 percent of respondents are against this solution.
