An-124 Ruslan transport aircraft belonging to the Ukrainian airline Antonov Airlines arrived at the Estonian Ämari Air Base on 30 April. There were 6 M142 HIMARS rocket launchers on board. The arrival of these vehicles in Estonia is the consequence of an agreement concluded with the Americans and Lockheed Martin. The duration of the contract was 3 and a half years. Estonian defence Forces have already completed first training on this equipment. In turn, specialist exercises for Estonian artillerymen are scheduled to take place this summer.
