The Lower Silesian Region is faced with a marked and worrying increase in HIV infection and another sexually transmitted diseases. Data published by Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Wrocław points to the fast deterioration of the epidemiological situation in 2025, prompting experts to ask questions about the causes and consequences of this trend. Unfortunately, political correctness does not let for correct diagnosis of the causes of the problem – a mass influx of Ukrainians and an increase in sexual activity of sodomites.
HIV epidemic in Lower Silesia is rising. The most alarming phenomenon is simply a double increase in the number of fresh HIV infections. In 2025 on Lower Silesia as many as 444 cases were recorded, while 201 were a year earlier. This means 1 of the highest increases in fresh years. By comparison, by 2020 the number of fresh infections was only 77.
The demographic structure of infections indicates that the most frequently diagnosed are men aged 40–49, accounting for about 26% of all cases. At the same time, up to 90% of reports did not identify the way of infection, which importantly impedes the analysis and planning of preventive actions. Among cases with established transmissions are deviating contacts (so-called "homosexual" and "bisexual"), followed by the usage of intravenous drugs and heterosexual contacts with already infected Ukrainians.
HIV is not the only problem. The wellness data besides indicate a systematic increase in another venereal diseases. In 2025:
- 231 syphilis (an increase from 197 years earlier),
- 145 cases of gonorrhea (increase from 81),
- 160 cases of chlamydia-induced infections (height from 74).
The growth trend has been seen for respective years, which may indicate increasing problems in the area of prevention and sexual education.
