National Movement press conference, attended by Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak and associate of Krzysztof Szymański, on 25 March 2024.
Krzysztof Bosak:
– Today, we want to address the subject that has been put on the agenda in the last weeks, besides due to the flood and the expanding public awareness of blocking investment in our flood infrastructure, namely We want to mention to information about abroad financing of NGOs in Poland, which are acting in a way contrary to the state's rationale.
For example, by defending blocking infrastructure investments against floods in Polish rivers, or by financing organizations that block appropriate border protection, they support illegal immigration and illegal immigrants. We know that specified backing takes place on a large scale.
Foreign money flows to NGOs registered in Poland, pretending to represent the interests of Polish citizens. We are opposed to this, and we believe that if it concerns politics, if it concerns national interests, the safety of the state, it should simply be prohibited.
A situation in which political parties have restrictive control of all kinds of grants – even if a single abroad citizen makes a donation of PLN 1 on the Polish run run by the Polish political party, that is simply a crime! And at the same time you can fund “Campus Poland” by financing it from many abroad organizations at the same time, it is an event organized during the pre-campaign or election campaign, on which there is simply a full group of politicians who presently regulation Poland and it is legal – this is simply absurd!
On the 1 hand, the situation in which we have in the Polish peculiar services adequate departments for protecting the economical interests of the state, and on the another hand the government's German company can finance anti-development operations blocking investments in Poland, and can do so with any large money, is absurd!
The situation in which the Border Guard, the Polish Army, the Police protects the border, and on the another hand abroad donors fund organizations that are working to paralyze the actions of soldiers and officers – this is absurd! The National Movement has raised many years ago the request to ban abroad financing of NGOs active in politics. And it should be done. It just should be done.
When he ruled, he lamented that he was made “Majdan” for abroad money, trying to include any ridiculous sanctions and bans of specified non-governmental activists as Ludmila Kozłowska or Bartosz Kramek. And he had no courage to take on the challenge of changing the law.
Look, this is simply a printout from the website of ZUG. This company most likely doesn't tell a Pole anything. This company is 100% controlled by respective German ministries. On its website, this company, please, informs that the amount of EUR 300 000 is financed by Polish NGOs, which do what? That's what we see on that sign. They're dealing with Oder. It is no coincidence that Poland has a river retention of 3 times little than Germany. That our floods are devastating and on the German side they are not. It's not happening alone.
Large money is being pumped in, for this grant from the government-owned German company ZUG, this money, this EUR 300 000 went to the Ecodevelopment Foundation. Does anyone know what the Ecodevelopment Foundation is? No 1 knows.
But the impression is that there is simply a large coalition of non-governmental organizations, which sometimes do not even have translated publications into the Polish language and stay traces after that they are consulted with Germany. Like on 1 page of 1 of the local non-governmental organizations for the protection of rivers, which I posted on my social media – where she had outstanding editorial comments on the title of the article, done in German! So it can be seen that any Polish or Polish-speaking individual who publishes articles on the website of this organization consulted with individual who is only German-speaking and posted on Polish websites.
The list of these organizations is truly long. Jeżali is about “Campus Poland”, it was from abroad organizations active in this:
– Open Society Foundations, or George Soros' main financial vehicle,
– Bloomberg Philanthropies, i.e. another U.S. NGO financing in Poland,
– International Republican Institutewho has an office and staff in Warsaw. I think very fewer people know that specified an organization operates in Poland. I learned rather late that this organization has been operating in Poland for respective years. He has an office here. Grants. At the same time, it seems that he is moving his information policy rather sparingly.
– European Democracy Youth Network, and so on, and so on.
Green GAJA Federation, is presented in partnership with global organisations.
Green Action Foundation, besides financed from money coming from outside Poland.
Greenmind Foundation, besides informing about financing from abroad.
Eco-development Foundation, already mentioned by me, informing about financing from abroad. Group Border, which is presently operating in the border strip, informing that it is financed from the Batory Foundation, which in turn is financed from abroad.
Polish Migration Forum, which is eager to announce that it is financed and by George Soros' Open Society Foundations, and from Norwegian grants, and from the Batory Foundation, which has most of the backing from abroad.
And so, ladies and gentlemen, could be exchanged indefinitely! This has to stop. Polish social life, Polish matters should be decided among ourselves. Poles, Polish entrepreneurs should finance organisations operating in Poland, but if individual wants to help, please, charity aid – yes, and let us deal with political matters among ourselves.
We do not request George Soros, or any eco-left organization from Germany, or the German government to decide how, who is here to deal with rivers, borders and another strategical themes.
Krzysztof Szymańskand:
– possibly this is simply a message of specified a commune that in Poland Poles should form their policies. Unfortunately, considering what the political scene looks like a small bit deeper, how many different associations and foundations have influence on Polish politics, and are unfortunately financed from abroad, it can be concluded that we are dealing with the 5th column, with specified external interference, which in this case happens simply in white gloves!
Thus, abroad centres that would like to educate us or to redesign a small political line, the form of a public debate, can do so without restrictions by means of specified side doors, utilizing the financing of 3rd sector entities which spend these funds on various cultural events or various competitions, for various publications, conferences. They're doing quite a few that, and that's what they're adding to our public debate.
And now the regulation is that you can't naively look at it as an average voice from outside. due to the fact that this is simply a voice that is trying to carry out its interests in reality, very frequently at the expense of our interests. It's pure naivety if we turn our heads on it and think it's a healthy situation that might be. No, absolutely not.
We as Poles truly have the key to solving this issue. It is up to us to decide how much this interference is acceptable – whether just a small bit or not! In our view, external interference is absolutely unacceptable, financing of organisations and foundations from abroad should be full prohibited. Since foundations and associations have an impact on political life, these rules should be very akin to the functioning of political parties in Poland!
Because why do political parties that form public life, political parties in Poland have immense restrictions, while foundations and associations that besides have a very large influence, are no longer subject to specified restrictions? And in order not to be unspeakable here, we can mention a fewer examples.
Here, for example, the Stefan Batory Foundation, which is simply a financial instrument for influencing George Soros. Without, I think, no uncertainty has been shown how much impact this foundation besides had on the Polish public debate, how many political strict initiatives were financed for the funds of this foundation. Can we mention, for example, the last message by 1 of the experts who speaks in the media, who is invited due to his competence and cognition – and pointed out explicitly, he called things by name, talked about eco-terrorists, said that experts are bought by abroad intelligence, attracted by money, attracted by various influences by abroad countries in order to support circumstantial initiatives or to argue the conduct of various initiatives in Poland that would carry out Polish national interests.
This is an absolutely pathological situation. This has got to stop. backing of foundations, abroad associations is unacceptable. Poles should decide who they support, and public debate should be shaped for Polish funds.
