On 11 June 2025 at the Warsaw School of Economics, a nationwide conference “Worker and Employer Forum” was held as part of the 15th edition of the “Employer Trustworthy”. The conference was opened by prof. Piotr Wachowiak and the Ombudsman Prof. Marcin Wiązek, who took the position of honorary patronage.
In his speech Prof. Piotr Wachowiak stressed, among another things, that in employee-employer relations, the welfare of workers is crucial and that relations should be of a partnership nature.
Prof. Marcin Wiązek pointed to any of the most crucial problems, starting with the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. He besides raised issues of discrimination against women on the labour market, returning to work after the birth of a kid and the situations experienced by young people and older people on the labour market.
The event was accompanied by a ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement between the SGH and the XBW Foundation of Ignacy Krasicki, which is the main organizer of the event. The aim of the cooperation will be to exchange experience that will contribute to the promotion of cognition and education on sustainable improvement and the ESG. On behalf of SGH, the agreement was signed Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, and on behalf of the Foundation Vice-President Przemysław Śmiałkowski.
Conducting the full conference Tomasz Dereszyński, Deputy editor of the I.pl portal, read the letter of the Chief Labour Inspector Marcin Staneckiwho besides took the event with an honorary patronage.
