DUBAI— Emirates Airline (EK) has officially inaugurated ‘Emirates First’ at Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport (DXB), offering an exclusive First Class check-in experience. This dedicated area is designed for Emirates’ First Class passengers and Skywards Platinum members, redefining ground services with heightened privacy and luxury.

Emirates, the world’s largest operator of international First Class seats, continues its substantial investments in enhancing premium travel. The new facility is part of a broader strategy to elevate every customer touchpoint, from airport to onboard services.

Emirates First at Dubai Airport

‘Emirates First’ embodies a sophisticated, private space within the Emirates Terminal 3 departures area at DXB.

Marked by a grand golden entrance, the area welcomes eligible customers into an opulent lounge-style environment, complete with plush leather seating, marble flooring, and curated lighting designed for tranquillity.

A dedicated Emirates host verifies guest eligibility at the entrance, ensuring seamless access to this premium zone.

Designed with refined aesthetics, the space blends warm earth tones with bronze and gold accents, reflecting the airline’s premium branding.

Iconic Emirates Rolex clocks, fresh floral arrangements, and a backlit Ghaf Tree — symbolizing the UAE’s national tree — further enhance the setting’s elegance. All digital screens and advertising are removed to maintain a calm atmosphere, complemented by natural greenery.

Guests can complete check-in formalities while seated, using iPads provided by Emirates staff. For those who prefer traditional counters, marble and brass check-in desks are available, with dedicated First Class baggage belts ensuring swift luggage handling.

Families can remain comfortably seated while a representative manages check-in for the group.

Once processed, passengers proceed through expedited security and immigration to access any of Emirates’ three exclusive First Class Lounges at DXB.

These lounges offer à la carte dining, fine wines, spa treatments, business services, children’s areas, and concierge-supported duty-free shopping.

Comprehensive Premium Journey with Emirates

Beyond the airport, Emirates’ (EK) premium experience extends globally. First Class passengers enjoy complimentary access to 43 Emirates Lounges worldwide and chauffeur-driven transfers across most destinations.

The reimagined ground experience aligns with Emirates’ broader commitment to delivering a ‘Fly Better’ journey, both on the ground and in the sky.

In May 2025, Emirates introduced further First Class upgrades, including personalised hospitality touches like Robert Welch engraved caviar bowls, rustic cheeseboards, and storytelling menus featuring wine and culinary inspirations. A distinctive, gloved service by cabin crew adds a layer of exclusivity onboard.
