Monday, May 5 is the last day to notify the electoral commissioner of his intention to vote by correspondence in this year's presidential elections by e.g. voters with disabilities or voters who will be 60 at the latest on the day of the vote.
In addition to persons with disabilities or those who are at least 60 years of age on the day of the vote, voters who are subject to compulsory quarantine, isolation or isolation under home conditions may be entitled to vote by correspondence. In their case, the intention to vote by correspondence shall be submitted by 13 May at the latest. If the voter is subject to quarantine or isolation after 13 May, the intention to vote may be submitted by 16 May at the latest.
It is only possible to vote by correspondence in the country. specified an application may be made orally, in writing with its own signature, electronically (using the gov.pl website) or by telephone in the case of a disabled voter and, among others, a voter subject to compulsory quarantine on the day of voting. The application shall be accompanied by a copy of the document(s) issued by the competent authority to find the degree of disability.
In the case of an oral application, the voter with disabilities must deliver the disability ruling to the municipal office.
The notification shall be made during the working hours of the delegation of the National Election Office serving the election commissioner.
No later than six days before the day of voting, the applicant voter should receive an election package delivered to him by a typical of the Polish Post Office. The electoral package consists of: a return envelope, a ballot card, a ballot card envelope, a message of individual and secret voting on the ballot card, instructions for correspondence voting, and possibly a ballot card cover drawn up in Braille's alphabet if the voter requested its message.
It is besides possible to vote by correspondence in the event of a possible 2nd circular of elections, which, if necessary, will take place on 1 June. If the voter did not study specified an intention in the 1st circular of the vote, the deadline for submitting it in the case of the 2nd circular is 22 May, which is 10 days before the day of re-vote. The time has been there since 19 May, the first day after the first circular of elections.
Also on 5 May, the deadline is to notify the mayor (the mayor, the president of the city) of their intention to exercise the right to free transport to the premises or free return transport by voters with disabilities or voters who have completed 60 years of age by the day of the vote.
This right is granted in a municipality where no municipal passenger transport operates on election day. Under these conditions, certain voters are entitled to transport to their place of residence. This right is besides valid for a possible re-vote - II round. If the voter did not apply for free transport before the 1st circular - and wants to exercise this right during the 2nd circular of elections - he will be able to study specified an intention to the mayor at the earliest on the day after the first vote (i.e. 19 May) and at the latest on the 5th day before the day of the re-vote.
Information about the organisation in municipalities of free passenger transport will be made public by 8 May. Voters wishing to exercise this right should be informed by 15 May of the time of transport to the electoral premises.
Voter may resign from transport to the premises and return transport or only return transport. The deadline for submitting specified resignation to the mayor is 16 May in the case of I circular of elections, and in the case of II circular - 30 May. The application shall be made during the working hours of the municipal office.
The presidential election will take place on May 18. Any second circular will be held on 1 June. (PAP)
