Arms exports from Serbia to Israel are increasing

The value of exports of arms and ammunition from the state-owned Jugoimport SDPR Group amounted to EUR 42.3 million in 2024, with 1.4 million in 2023.
A fresh investigation by journalists BIRN and ‘Haarec' from September last year showed that Serbia sold 23 million euros of weapons in the first 8 months of 2024. Subsequent transports took place in October and December and coincided with flights from Serbia to the Newatim military air base in Israel.
