- I'm sorry. We decided to appeal to Marty Nawrocka, who publically said that the negative impact of social media on children's intellectual wellness and the fight against hatred are crucial to her," said Katarzyna Szymielewicz, president of the Panoptykon Foundation.
The First woman responded to the appeal in a peculiar letter. In the introduction, she pointed out that she agrees with the belief that "faits specified as hate, verbal violence, harmful content, or addictive mechanisms present on social media are a real challenge especially for the youngest and inexperienced users of the network".
First woman on online aggression. "My household has faced many times"
Nawrocka besides recalled her household experiences. "To me, these problems are not abstract. My household has faced aggression and hatred in the media and the net many times – this has been actual for both me and my husband during and after the election campaign" - we read in the letter.
The First woman stressed that this is precisely why she has been active since the beginning of her public activity, "to combat hate, strengthen social resilience and advance liable usage of fresh technologies".
Nawrocka besides mentioned plans to establish Foundation close Human Affairs and its commitment to educational and social initiatives.
